March was a busy month at Palmer with Colorado’s annual student assessment testing (CSAP) for grades three through five, a Pride Rally on March 13 that recognized students for faithfully practicing the selected “Palmer Pride” character trait throughout the month, a K-2 musical entitled “The Best of Broadway” on March 19, and Palmer’s annual “Egg Drop” activity for the intermediate grades in which students plan the best possible protection for their raw egg as it drops from approximately 20 feet. The coverings are always fantastic as the students use a variety of materials.
The students, staff and teachers invite Mayfair neighbors to drop by any time to see what learning is all about at Palmer!
In addition, all during the month Palmer will have after school enrichment programs for students that include basketball, knitting, drama, reading clubs, and chess just to name a few.
