Although spring is just peeking it’s head out, it is already time to plan for our Mayfair 4th of July Parade. Last year was a great success, and we are hoping more families will join us this year.

Please mark your calendars for Thursday, July 4th at 8:30 a.m. to start the festivities. Have your kids decorate their bike, trike, scooter or wagon and ride around Mayfair Park to the cheers of all the parade watchers.

The new playground is compete and on May 29th it is open to the public. New equipment, trees, shade and a fun theme makes it a a great gathering place for kids of all ages.

As you may recall, Denver Parks and Recreation allocated annual capital improvement funding to redesign and replace Mayfair Park playground in 2012-2013.

Thank You Volunteers

The Easter Egg Hunt and the annual shredding event were both huge successes thanks in large part to all who showed up to help. At the Friday night egg stuffing we had wonderful helpers from Palmer 4th graders to new neighbors who brought their tiny twins!

And at the Shred-a-Thon, volunteers helped direct traffic and registered new members.

Thanks to everyone who helped out. It's people like you who make Mayfair great.

Mayfair Neighbors is looking for a Volunteer Ad Sales/Ad Production person to help sell display ads for the Mayfair Mirror. The Mirror relies on advertising to get printed and mailed. Any money left over goes to fund community events. This is a fun way to get to know people in the neighborhood and make a difference.
