A. Information You Voluntarily Provide
This is information you voluntarily provide such as first name, last name and email address. This information may be collected through newsletter sign-up forms, event RSVP forms, volunteer sign-up forms, membership applications, donation forms. We do not collect phone numbers, mailing addresses (unless voluntarily provided through PayPal), or sensitive personal information through our website.
B. Payment Information
Membership dues and donations are processed securely through PayPal. We do not collect, process, or store payment card information on our website. Payment information is handled directly by PayPal in accordance with their privacy and security policies.
C. Automatically Collected Information
Our website is hosted on Wix. Wix may automatically collect certain technical information, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, date and time of visits, general geographic region. We use Wix’s built-in analytics tools to understand website traffic and improve our communications. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising tracking tools.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to support our neighborhood mission. Specifically, we may use your information to send newsletters, provide updates about meetings and events, coordinate volunteer activities, confirm event RSVPs process memberships, communicate important neighborhood announcements. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
We do not share individual personal information with third parties except as necessary to, process payments through PayPal, operate our website via Wix.
We may share aggregated, non-identifiable information (such as total membership numbers or general participation statistics) with sponsors or community partners. This information does not include names, email addresses, or other identifying details.
We do not share member lists with other neighborhood organizations.
Email Communications
Newsletters and communications are sent directly through Gmail. You may opt out of receiving emails at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” (if available) or replying to any email and requesting removal. We honor all opt-out requests promptly.
Event Photography & Media
Our events are held in public spaces and are open to the general public.
A. Adults
Photographs may be taken at public events for use in newsletters, social media, and website content. Notice will be posted at events informing attendees that photography may occur. If you appear in a photograph and prefer it not be used, you may request removal by emailing mayfairneighbors@gmail.com. We will honor reasonable removal requests.
B. Minors
We do not publish names of minors.
If identifiable images of minors (including visible faces) are to be used in marketing materials, website content, or social media, we will obtain written parental or guardian consent prior to publication.
If we later expand media usage, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

Personal information is stored in Secure Gmail accounts, Google Drive, The Wix website platform.

Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Specifically active member information is retained while membership remains active, inactive member information may be retained for up to five (5) years for administrative and recordkeeping purposes. Individuals may request deletion of their information at any time.

You have the right to request a copy of your personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, opt out of email communications
