Located just five miles east of Downtown Denver, Mayfair offers a unique blend of historic charm, tree-lined streets, local businesses, neighborhood parks, and a strong sense of community. This guide will help you learn more about the neighborhood and discover ways to get connected.

The neighborhood includes approximately 3,200 households and is centrally located near Cherry Creek, Lowry, Park Hill and the 9+Co redevelopment district.
A Brief History of Mayfair
Mayfair traces its roots to the early 1900s and developed into one of Denver's premier residential neighborhoods. Known for its wide parkways, mature trees, and diverse architecture, the neighborhood has long attracted families and residents looking for welcoming community atmosphere.
Today, Mayfair combines historic character with modern amenities, offering residents easy access to parks, schools, local businesses, healthcare facilities, and major transportation corridors.
Parks and Outdoor Spaces
Mayfair Park
The neighborhood's signature gathering space, Mayfair Park features open green spaces, playgrounds, a basketball hoop, walking paths, and community events throughout the year.
Crestmoor Park
Located just south of the neighborhood, Crestmoor Park offers expansive lawns, walking trains, tennis courts, playgrounds, and one of Denver's most popular neighborhood park experiences.
City Park
Just a short drive or bike ride northeast, City Park is home to the Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, tennis courts, handball courts, golf course, lakes, trails, and much much more.
Lindsley Park
Just west of Mayfair, in the neighborhood of Belleview/Hale, Lindsley Park offers Tennis courts, open recreation area, a large playground, and a public general health workout area.
Kittridge and Crescent Parks
Located along 8th Avenue, just east of Monaco, both Kittridge and Crescent parks offer big recreation areas, playground and walking paths. Crescent Park is right next to Montclair Rec Center.
