ABOUT MAYFAIR
Our Organization
Mayfair Neighbors Inc. was formed in 1977 with a mission to advance the common interests of the neighborhood by initiating and coordinating actions for the physical, economic, civic, and cultural improvement of Mayfair. In recent years, we've prioritized organizing fun events that bring our neighbors together and encourage community.
Mayfair is a cozy, progressive neighborhood five miles east of downtown Denver, known for its diverse neighbors, homes, and businesses. Established in 1902 and named after WWII, it’s near Cherry Creek and
9th & CO.
The area features local shopping and dining along Colfax, 14th & Krameria, and Jersey Street, centered around Mayfair Park—making it a welcoming,
vibrant place to live.

2026 Officers and Board of Directors

President
Kelsey Gano
Kelsey moved to Colorado in 2014 to finish her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder. After renting in Mayfair for 3 years, Kelsey and her husband didn't want to live anywhere else - they bought their first home in Mayfair in May 2020. Kelsey enjoys knitting, baking, reading, walking her two pups, and finding opportunities to connect with neighbors and new friends!

Treasurer
Susan Rogers
Susan is a 20+ year Mayfair neighbor, residing at 13th and Fairfax. She enjoys gardening, walking her dogs around the neighborhood, eating at local restaurants, and meeting neighbors! Susan is a metro Denver native who grew up in Englewood and lived in Cherry Creek North for many years.

Director
Jim Brothers
Jim was born an Okie, and grew up in Waco, Texas (way before Chip & Joanna). Jim has Geology degrees from Baylor. Jim and his wife, Mary Claire, moved to Denver in the mid-1970’s and it has pretty well been home since then. They've been in their Mayfair house for over twenty-five years and like the proximity to downtown while still having a small-area neighborhood feel. People are friendly and are out in the neighborhood a lot - plus access to the mountains is good straight out on Sixth Avenue. Jim and his wife are avid hikers and amateur photographers. Upon retiring from the oil and gas business, Jim currently volunteers as a Director on the Mayfair Neighbors Inc. Board.

Katherine joined Mayfair Neighbors in 2022 committed to building strong connections and supporting positive change in the place we call home. She enjoys collaborating with neighbors to organize events, volunteer initiatives, and activities that bring people together. Being part of Mayfair allows me to create and support the community where I call home. I believe in the power of community and that through teamwork and shared goals, we can all continue to make our neighborhood a more inclusive place where everyone feels valued.

Secretary
JJ Eagleston
JJ has served as a board member for Mayfair Neighbors Inc. for the past three years and has lived in Mayfair for the past twelve. Director
Jackie Medford
Jackie and her family settled into their Mayfair home in 1971. She joined the Board of Mayfair Neighbors Inc. over 25 years ago to advocate keeping 8th Avenue a two-way street - and it's the best thing she did! Jackie is chair of the biannual Shred-a-Thons and helps with many other activities. As Jackie likes to say, her life has been moving, music and Mayfair Neighbors. She calls Mayfair a little preview of heaven on Earth. If you see her weeding her front yard or sitting on the front porch, join her, wave, and say "Hi!" because she will always be your neighbor.
