At the June 3, 2026 District 2 Community Advisory Board meeting, Denver Police reported a noticeable increase in garage burglaries in the Mayfair and Montclair neighborhoods, including thefts from both open garages and locked side-entry doors. Residents are encouraged to keep garage doors closed and secured. Despite this trend, overall crime in Sector 222 is down nearly 20% year-over-year.
